I bought this knowing it would be used for a variety of purposes but immediately needed a restoration of the plastic trim on my Chevy Avalanche which had faded to a dull gray and was protruding. like a sore thumb with a factory black finish. I've seen videos on YouTube showing it's much more effective than buying and using liquid lies. I couldn't find anything in my garage to hang this thing up, so I realized my mistake when I could smell the lid of my trash can melting. Make sure you have a hook or nail to hang this so you don't ruin the first one you installed like I did. It's easy, it's really easy, I didn't expect it to work, I looked inside the box for everything else. But of course it convinced me. It has two settings: Hot and Really Hot. I used the "Really Hot" setting for the plastic shell and followed the swirl pattern as instructed by my master Miyagi. The result can be seen in the photos I attach to my review. This can easily be used on other plastic parts on various vehicles, but test it on a small spot that you can screw up and your wife won't yell at you for looking stupid. / Sealing windows, removing sealant, peeling off glued parts and, as you can see, restoring car plastics, mostly on a sober head. I hope you enjoyed this review and if you found it helpful please let me know. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I appreciate it.
