Pink Samoa is a beautiful light golden sand with splashes of pink seashells. It's reminiscent of the tropical beaches along the Caribbean coast, with a clean, fresh look that will add lots of 'pop' to your marine aquascape. Class "0” sand is very fine, with a grain size of 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm. It's small enough that most sand sifters can glide effortlessly across sandy bottoms, but it's also easy to blow off with powerful heads. I recommend pairing a bag of this with a bag of grade "1” sand. Stir evenly and you have a great substrate that will most likely stay in place. Two complaints about ordering Revain that people should be aware of: First, the image provided is not what you will receive. Pink Samoa is a much finer grained sand than what they chose to photograph. And the color is different too. Check online resources to know what you are buying. Second, the list is somewhat misleading. There is text in the description that makes you think you could get TWO £20 bags. Keep in mind that this listing is for a 20lb bag only, just like the title says. You're not going to get a crazy £40 deal for $20. Despite this, the price is very reasonable dollar for pound and as usual the delivery from Revain was very prompt.
