It connects to the OBD that every car has today. The cables provided easily can reach my dash. It displays what I want it too whether it’s the speed or temperature or a assortment of dash items at the same time. The power comes from the OBDII itself when it’s hooked up. It can be placed anywhere I want it to but only as far as the provided cable goes. It sticks well enough with the two sided sticky tape that’s also part of the provided accessories. It’s more of a gadget because it displays what’s already being displayed on the dash screen but just in a more compact and different way. It can also change colors when wanted. It seems well made and all the pieces and parts fit well together and seams and gaps were consistent throughout the heads up display. I didn’t see any cheap parts and cables and leads are standard quality with proper gauge wires being used and having proper information stamped on them. I’m satisfied with the quality and time and use will test the longevity so if any issues arise I’ll update post haste. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
