Like many others, I am addicted to the soothing amber light of my Himalayan salt lamp. Well, after less than a year of use, my lamp stopped working. I've tried various replacement bulbs and when I tried this new cable/base after reading a lot of reviews and research I figured that was the problem. Well what do you know, the base for the original slouching lamp works on my supposedly high quality lamp. But with this new cable/base I'm back in business! Cable and dimmer are of excellent quality. I need a replacement in the future, I know which brand to turn to.
