Perfect match for my standing salt lamp (Himalayan Glow 1002 Large Salt Lamp, ETL listed Himalayan salt lamp, 8-11 pounds from WBM). Extra light is good.

I rarely write reviews but compared to what I had for a flashlight it's great! What's nice, you can put it on the wooden stand or without the wooden stand! Feels stable over the stand! I love that I can dim the light since I leave it on all day! I added a picture! So I'll see how it goes and update the review in a few months!

Recently received 3 of these devices from Betus. Only one works. The first knocked out the light bulb and cartridge when first turned on. The light on the second flickers based on whether you're touching the cord a certain way. The third works fine. So much for "upgrading" and rejecting "poorly made flimsy lines". So it's a trip back to UPS to come back and now a new search for a salt lamp cord that works.

This light cable replacement kit does not fit my salt lamp. I ordered exactly the same 3 years ago to replace the cord that came with my lamp (it melted) and it fits perfectly, but this one has pins that are too big and won't compress to fit. So it goes back. Looks like I'm on the hunt again. It's so frustrating! I have to say the last one was perfect and still working but it got sucked off and the cord chewed so I needed another replacement.

Like many others, I am addicted to the soothing amber light of my Himalayan salt lamp. Well, after less than a year of use, my lamp stopped working. I've tried various replacement bulbs and when I tried this new cable/base after reading a lot of reviews and research I figured that was the problem. I have several Himalayan salt lamps at home and love their soft, warm glow. Some of my original lamps are several years old and their fixings will soon fail. I chose this product because it is UL certified. The part is made of plastic, but differs from the original in that the bulb does not rest directly on the metal that the bulb is screwed into. I received 2 bulbs with this order. One of them broke at the base so it was a waste of time. I also found it very difficult to insert the base into the lamp. Maybe the lamp's cutout shape, I don't know, but I wouldn't say it fits ALL salt lamps. Which according to "original replacement" sounds like it should be. The 3 pieces of plastic were so hard that it was difficult to get them onto the bottom of the lamp. At least for me this point is not easy. It's actually kind of a pain in the ass. Now…

Loved it, this item was affordable and arrived quickly. It was a bit tricky to fit into the base of my salt lamp because the black prongs stick out further than the item pictured and the dimensions don't quite match the picture, but I was able to fit it there. And cheers, it turned on and everything worked fine for about 2 days, then when I tried to turn off the lamp on the second night, the dimmer button fell off in my hand.
