It's been a week. Prevented 3 incidents involving our cat's urine on a lovely sofa that has been partially reupholstered and cleaned. Despite professional cleaning, it is almost impossible to remove the smell, so the animal does not come back and try to mark its territory again. Humans cannot smell the smell. This cover has been a great solution so far. In our case, there is no way to prevent the cat from entering the room. I hope it lasts and thanks to the manufacturer. FYI, we tried other covers and methods and they didn't work. I would happily trade the 2 minutes it takes to clean up the mess for a quick clean up with a rag or paper towel instead of cleaning or swapping out the couch.
