I am a very active table tennis player so I bought this paddle thinking that it would up my game. I must say that I loved the action of the paddle and my game has improved particularly my defense. The big problem and why I only gave this paddle three stars is that the rubber is beginning to break off on the red side. I thought initially that I hit the paddle on the table, but then chunks began to break off for no reason and the rubber appears loose around the edges. I like the paddle, but not the pieces missing around the edge. I have had the paddle only three months. I changed my rating because the paddle continues to loose rubber during normal play which should not happen with a paddle that costs over $100.
