Review on 🧦 Strassburg Sock Regular Size - White | Fits Calf Size up to 16in by Jeho Odor

This sock as is didn't work as well as a boot but with a few tweaks it's great. I have had plantar fasciitis for many years. I've used NSAIDs, orthotics, stretch marks, steroid injections, and a night boot. The boot definitely helps a lot with morning pains and I find it helps with healing as well. By pointing the foot at a 90-degree angle, the fascia doesn't shrink overnight, instead it tears and inflames again every morning. I recently went on a trip and couldn't take a big, bulky boot with me, so I bought these socks. When he pulls on his toes, I couldn't get him at a sufficient angle to heal. When I tightened it to try and stretch the cure enough, it just pulled my toes back more. It helped, but not as much as the boot. I decided to change it up because I really needed something to travel with. I used two thin pieces of cardboard the size and shape of my footprint (I had a pair of socks, but cardboard from cereal boxes will do!) to make the insert for this device. In between I glued a short wooden paint stirrer to create a rigid base for the legs. To make it comfortable I covered it with a thin invisible sock and then put strassburg inside the sock. It might seem like a strange decision, but now it's perfect! With a solid base, the sock now holds my foot at a very comfortable, relaxed 90 degree angle without pulling on my toes. I could pack it in my suitcase and it took up very little space. In fact, it's so comfortable and light that I now prefer it to my hot thick boot, too!
