At first I hated this sock but then I figured out how to make it work and wear it ALL NIGHT! First, insert a soft shoe insert into the sock (the insert I took out to put on my own orthotics) that relieves the pressure and friction from the big toe but allows the foot to remain in a flexed position. It worked, I wear it all night and between some serious daily stretches and wearing this sock my plantar fasciitis is finally better after years of pain.

You CANNOT go back, so be careful!

I recently developed plantar fasciitis and have tried everything to relieve the pain. That's when I came across this sock. I would like to read more reviews. At first I thought it would fit and work. However, I've tried wearing these socks for a few nights and I can't last very long because the compression is SO tight around the top of my calf. I thought moving around to relieve the pressure would help and it helps at first but then you realize you've lost the traction you need to keep yourโ€ฆ

A week later no symptoms!

Highly Recommended! I've had fairly mild plantar fasciitis for years and have just battled it by wearing insoles and limiting my time on my feet. I have a good physical therapist who recommended daily calf stretches (more than 2 minutes straight per day) and strassbourg socks at night (I only wear them on one leg and change them every night). It took some getting used to for the first few nights, but then it didn't bother me at all. My symptoms were completely gone in just a week or two! Aโ€ฆ

The best PF socks on the market

I am a loyal customer. I struggled with PF in 2011-2012 and used an earlier version of the sock that didn't have velcro around the calf (at least I don't remember). My PF went away within a few days after wearing socks overnight. Once PF left, guess what I did. Yes, I threw away my socks like a mannequin. I just bought another one (I'll get another one later) because that annoying PF is back and has been bugging me for months. It took me a while to find the exact same socks (from the sameโ€ฆ

Good as is, great with modification!

This sock as is didn't work as well as a boot but with a few tweaks it's great. I have had plantar fasciitis for many years. I've used NSAIDs, orthotics, stretch marks, steroid injections, and a night boot. The boot definitely helps a lot with morning pains and I find it helps with healing as well. By pointing the foot at a 90-degree angle, the fascia doesn't shrink overnight, instead it tears and inflames again every morning. I recently went on a trip and couldn't take a big, bulky boot withโ€ฆ

Works as advertised - instantly eliminates the 'painful first step'

I have had persistent plantar fasciitis in my right foot for the past 6 months and nothing has seemed to help. I bought custom orthotics and special shoes, did exercise therapy, rolled my foot on a bottle of frozen water, tried compression stockings, etc. The only thing I didn't try was a hard plastic night splint that my orthopedist sold me. No matter how I adjusted it, it felt like a medieval torture device. I couldn't wear it for more than fifteen minutes at a time, let alone sleep in itโ€ฆ

Like others, I had the same initial problems - .

I suffered from PF on my left leg for about two years and nothing helped. I've tried just about everything mentioned in previous reviews including: SuperFeet, cortisone injections, custom orthotics, special stretch mode, ice bottle arch roll, golf ball/racket arch roll, different types of shoes (Crocs seemed to be around giving me the greatest relief) etc. In the mornings when I had to get up and take the first few steps it was just excruciating and it made me unable to walk for 2 years.
