Review on ๐Ÿงฆ Strassburg Sock Regular Size - White | Fits Calf Size up to 16in by Hector Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Like others, I had the same initial problems - .

I suffered from PF on my left leg for about two years and nothing helped. I've tried just about everything mentioned in previous reviews including: SuperFeet, cortisone injections, custom orthotics, special stretch mode, ice bottle arch roll, golf ball/racket arch roll, different types of shoes (Crocs seemed to be around giving me the greatest relief) etc. In the mornings when I had to get up and take the first few steps it was just excruciating and it made me unable to walk for 2 years. I ordered Strassburg socks on a whim, thinking I'd tried everything else and already spent a lot of money on different solutions and multiple visits to the podiatrist. Like others, I had the same initial problems - most notably numbness in my toes. big toe scratched velcro at night etc. I just played around with it a bit and figured out what worked for me how tight etc. The first few nights it woke me up with numb toes and I took it off, went back to bed and tried it again the next evening. After a week or so, I slept through most of the night. Then, after about 2 weeks of nightly use (I didn't use it at all during the day), the funniest thing happened. My leg started to feel better. Back then the progress was much faster and now it's been about 3-4 years and I haven't had a relapse and I'm 100% pain free. I've read some reviews that say it didn't work for certain people and I'm not an orthopedic surgeon, but maybe some people's level of PF is a bit different, or maybe some cases respond well to the sock and some don't t. For me, the sock was the complete medicine. UPDATE - Thought I should update this review as it has been around 3-4 years since I bought and wrote the sock. To date the plantar fasciitis hasn't returned so fingers crossed that doesn't happen and the sock will continue to gather dust in my travel first-aid kit.
