My 10 year old had swimming sickness a few weeks before we went to the sea on holiday and we were all a little worried about this as he had such a new problem. I picked up these earplugs before my trip and they have been my life saver! He wore them both at the resort's water park and in the sea and loved them. My biggest concern was that they would block his hearing, but I didn't even realize it! He understood her without difficulty, and he liked one particular case. We lost one in the ocean but since he spent the day bodyboarding I'm not surprised. My 7 year old and 4 year old also tried them but they weren't so lucky as it's easy to pick them up. . However... these two were not committed to the cause. I have a feeling we could make them work if we wanted to.
