A longtime Brooks fan in Ravenna, but Brooks continued to tweak Ravenna and eventually gave up. It's only my second week so I'm slowly working them into my rotation but so far they're working great. A softer ride than Ravenna and a completely different feel that may or may not work for you. The Ravenna feels very flat and this shoe definitely has a curved and higher platform so you'll notice the heel-to-toe transition when you take your first step. Two 3 mile runs plus a 7 mile run have not shown any ill effects so far. These could be my new shoes. The professional reviews I read before purchasing are correct. This shoe retails for $100.
