Review on Wireless Monitor and Motion Sensor for Smart Caregiving: The Economy Edition by Devin Jirsa

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Suitable for my security and surveillance needs

So far this has been 100% perfect for my needs. I read most of the reviews, both positive and negative. I understand that it really depends on your needs. I had to recognize when a member of my family is trying to get out of bed. If you place the motion sensor on the bedside table, you can easily see at which point your feet go over the edge of the bed, at which point the alarm goes off. I agree with other alarm system reviews. There really should be a reset button that you press to stop and reset the alarm. For now you have to turn off the alarm with the switch on the side. After attending to the needs of your loved one, you must remember to turn the switch back on. Since it usually happens in the middle of the night when you're still sleepy, it's easy to forget. Thankfully I haven't forgotten, but I understand why other negative reviews have raised this as a concern. If it had an easy reset button I would give it a five star rating. There are currently no other competitors for this product. I think as soon as another company comes out with a new and improved version, that company will light the fire and improve their product. There's really no incentive at the moment.

Pros
  • The system comes with 1 economy class wireless monitor and 1 swing arm motion sensor to detect movement in a specific area. It's easy to control how your loved ones get out of bed or leave the room. Can be used over or near doors or next to a bed.
