So far this has been 100% perfect for my needs. I read most of the reviews, both positive and negative. I understand that it really depends on your needs. I had to recognize when a member of my family is trying to get out of bed. If you place the motion sensor on the bedside table, you can easily see at which point your feet go over the edge of the bed, at which point the alarm goes off. The 433-EC alarm unit is pretty good on its own as you can use up to 6 sensors. I bought a chair cushion and a bed cushion to match this unit. Contrary to other reviews I've seen, it can control all the sensors at the same time if programmed correctly. (Instructions are clearly provided along with the pads.)
