Review on 🧱 Pure Copper Vintage Bottle with Antique Brown Finish by De Kulture Works by Mark Caperton

Vendors use a coating on the inside to prevent oxidation, but will they drink the water themselves?

I paid double for this bottle because it's handmade which I appreciate + the seller states they use the polish ON THE OUTSIDE ONLY which would be great IF that was true. In the photos you can see the lack of oxidation which looks "perfect" but looks clean. NO benefits. Look at my Sertodo brand (no varnish is used inside) and you can see the dark spots which are ugly BUT if you clean with salt and water (required) and then use it to save water you get the benefits of copper. Copper bottles are for and needed for that, and not for beauty. I'll wait another day for the oxidation and if not it'll come back, you don't need beauty without functionality. I've found that a lot of copper sellers are starting to use varnish on the inside because it's our consumers fault, we complain that we get dark spots easily, but that's what copper does naturally and only on a regular basis needs to be cleaned. It's a job, but it's better to drink water from a NATURALLY clean surface than a chemically painted surface.
