I used to buy a small one and my cat didn't like it, it was too small for him. This one is a little taller, has less tilt at the top, and the frame doesn't flex. The side and front zips are really good for when you need to reach your carrier. The backpack is light but very robust. I bought the blue one and it is exactly as described and pictured. My cat rides me to work in this carrier every day and loves it so much more than our previous one, he actually curls up under it and takes a nap on the way home. He can see the screen windows, which he likes a lot (otherwise he screams out loud). I would highly recommend this pet carrier, especially for people like me who travel with their pets on a daily basis.
