It works as follows: Tool for the engine

There are no assembly instructions, once I assembled it it broke up and is very dangerous when the springs are compressed. It took about an hour of screaming, swearing, blood loss and constant reassembling of the tool as it fell apart every time I tried to compress the spring but the springs fell out. I haven't reassembled it yet as it hasn't come back from the auto shop yet, but I'm afraid to reassemble! But it works. 3 stars is just a bounty because I ended up removing the feathers. By the way an ASE certified mechanic with 10 years experience in case you are wondering.
