Review on Convenient and Versatile: Malone Downloader Folding J-Style ๐Ÿš— Universal Car Rack Kayak Carrier with Bow and Stern Lines by Alex Winnick

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits well on my kayaks (trophy 126 and perception.

It's been 8 weeks and about 12 kayak rides since I bought them. They live on my roof and haven't deteriorated at all, some air noise when folded but no whistling.I have an oval crossbar that is thicker on one side and it snaps into place very well with no movement (I used a wrench to tighten it.)I've used it with and without lines on the pommel and transom , they work well both ways but are noisy without extra lines (my crossbars bounce without them) I replaced the included traction straps with ratchet straps, they fit my kayaks well (Trophy 126 and Impulse of Perception Very easy to load my 2013 Escape and I'm only 5ft 9" some complaints from previous reviews seem to have been addressed I have no issues with the locking tabs, they aren't stiff and won't take it all the way out of the rack but will snap nicely into place with an audible click. also loops to keep the straps in place where they should be. I did a lot of research on the foldable J cradle before purchasing it and I am very happy with my purchase. They seem to be the best foldable bassinet and don't cost as much as their competitors.
