Of course everyone complains about the black paint fading after installation but there is one seller who advises against leaving this paint there as it is only for transport, not for the ceramic coating. So I used Rustoleum Aircraft Paint stripper to remove it and then sprayed VHT Flat Black Ceramic Coating on it. I had to prep them more because I didn't remove all of the shipping paint, so the remaining paint burned off when I started the truck. As for the installation, the instructions were useless. Luckily I'm mechanical, otherwise it would be difficult for a beginner. Landing was just nearer to the ground when he nearly hit the torsion bar. But these hearing aids have helped my 20R breathe again with a slight increase in performance. My stock exhaust was limited and my original cast iron header was cracked. All in all I recommend buying it if like me you are on a tight budget. I've heard good things about LCE headers, but your talk of $400-500 and Doug Thorley was crap from what I read.
