The taste is great for me, but someone may not care. The black toothpaste comes out of a small hole so you have to squeeze it out pretty hard, it's worth it! Using a scoop of regular toothpaste isn't all a waste. It is smooth and easy to comb without any graininess. Nice aftertaste, but not for long. Haven't used it long enough to say it's bleach, but my mouth feels fresh and clean. It might not look like it, but there's so much product you get in just one tube that it'll get old before you need to replace it.
