Well it took me a while to get it working. My original doorbell was way to the right and when I tried to install it it didn't look very good. I ended up getting a BOA doorbell to fix my problem. The only downside for me was not being able to use the doorbell's energy to keep the device charged. However, the battery is large and with my settings it seems to last a very long time. Having figured out the installation I am very pleased with the quality and capabilities of this camera. It's bigger than most but seems very solid. They didn't skimp on quality here. I chose Ctronics because all of their products are reasonably priced and it seems like this company supports their product after reading numerous reviews of their products. I would recommend if you are looking for an alternative camera. it does a great job. The only thing I wish they had more mounts or accessories to support this doorbell cam. But if your doorbell is a direct shot with a clear view to begin with, you might actually consider this video. Door bell!
