The rod was no problem to install. We used the screws and anchors that came with it, an electric drill, and patience. It helped to have 2 people, measure twice and drill once, and take our time. Reading the other posts about included hardware not working well was helpful - we knew to carefully work with items provided because it's all we had. The curtains are still up a week later, and they're insulated, light-blocking ones, so they're heavy. We did use the center support - no problem.
- Love this! Easy to install and hold these two velvet curtains up without the center piece installed!
- The mounting brackets should just come vertical so it isn't such a pain to install.
