I'm a first aid/CPR/AED instructor and these things are durable! One of the defining factors that made me buy these and not others was the indicator lights on the shoulder. Most dummies only have a "clicker" in their chest that tells you you're pushing hard enough, and this sometimes distracts the trainee's attention from the rhythm. However, they have lights on their shoulders that glow red, orange, or green. Red means you're not pushing hard enough or you're at the wrong cadence. Orange is the middle dot, meaning you're a little off, and green means you're doing everything right. My students are always amazed when they see this and it gives them a visual cue that they are doing a good job.
