Bought for my son to charge his 120w laptop in the car but he can't even get it The fan is very quiet, the cord is almost 3ft long which enough, it seems like a solid construction, but it can't charge my particular laptop. Update: The manufacturer contacted me to find out which computer model I wanted to charge. Then they bought the exact same computer and ran some tests themselves. It turns out that this computer runs on 19 volts, not 12 volts. I have a lot of respect for these guys for going through the hardships they took to get to the bottom of my problem. Excellent customer service! In short, the problem lay elsewhere. my end NO manufacturers! This product charges laptops but not some of the more powerful ones like my sons. I just didn't know any better, I was focused on the power requirements and didn't understand the voltage requirements.
