We got the AccuVoice AV203, and it's everything it says it is. We actually lucked out choosing an open box unit, and it was perfect, and it was about 25% cheaper. So to the review, you get 6 levels of voice clarity, which actually makes the sound crisper. plus the loudness control. We have a Samsung LED TV, and were using the TV's speakers only, but the sound quality sounded like the sound was coming from a closet, with a pillar over the sound speaker. I've tried other plug in TV speakers but they really didn't help the sound clarity. This unit is an independent sound system meaning it has it's own controller with different level setting. What's nice is if the sound is too "crisp" I can use my TV's volume control also to make the sound a bit fuller, or just right.Almost forgot, the unit dampens the loudness bursts that you get watching normal programming, and especially action, adventure programs which get annoyingly loud at times. Honestly, I'd have to watch the TV with the volume control in my hands to quickly turn down the volume. I'm not doing that any more, and it's a huge plus for me. I'm very happy with the AccuVoice AV203,
