If you're just looking for a good, calm ambiance, then this is for you. But if you want to throw a pool party with some good loud tunes, keep looking. The problem is that when you exceed the "easy listening" levels, the bass starts showing up. Be as loud as I'd like, but get your money's worth, they're decent and just as loud as a pair of smaller Bose outdoor speakers I have. I put them in my parents garage or yard and they keep getting bigger and more expensive.
