Cons: I bought a medium size for my 12 lb, 8 month old Shih Tzu who is completely hairy (he is a show dog. And I walk my client dogs on long hikes daily. It should be MORE Giving coverage between legs leaving smaller holes for pee and poop I bought this to keep his fur as clean and dry as possible as he collects TONS of leaves and will literally be covered in snowballs! Dogs so let's go 3- Walk 5 hours a day.Here are some problems I found: Little coverage - very THIN FLEECE inside NOT good thick fleece lining a riveter that's the only thing I thought I'd have to do sigh - I wish my feet would n be a little bit longer, about 1-2" to get the legs down where t The boots I'm going to attach actually fit the legs. The boots came to just over his wrists u nd hocks. Pros: I bought him a little larger as he is growing and I don't want his coat to get tangled in the zipper! - was the right length for body and chest diameter (with enough room) - my pup got the hang of wearing this and it was a reasonably stretchy combination of fabrics which made it easier to move. I was expecting it to fit a bit better so I had to make NO adjustments other than attaching waterproof boots. The zipper appears to be a middle-of-the-road zipper "heavy duty":; Only time can tell! I will try the coat tomorrow as it will be cold and rainy outside. Fingers crossed!
