Review on 🧽 WANANG Stainless Steel Washing-up Bowl: A Versatile Dish Tub for Sink, Wash Basins, and Dishpan by Bryan Ramirez

Great green alternative to plastic tubs

My wife and I love having this kitchen sink to save water - we live in California and should almost always have one. For example, we conserve dishwater to wash the next load of dishes, and during drought restrictions we literally pour water out the window to water a few plants. But. We got tired of buying a new plastic tub every year or two after it cracked and decayed and then ended up in a landfill. We looked for metal alternatives to all plastics because they are more durable and recyclable at the end of their useful life. Our garden tops were the first to be metal, then the new roof for our 'Cation' is now metal instead of the old polycarbonate, and our kitchen sink is now brighter, shinier stainless steel. This particular bathtub is fairly lightweight yet sturdy - I expect it to last for many years. I dislike: (1) drain holes. What's the point? If I don't want it to get full, I know how to empty it myself. I just sealed the holes with tape. (2) loose rubber feet. You need/want them to prevent the tub from scratching the bottom of the sink and this will help direct water and debris down the drain without getting caught on the edge of the tub. But one leg fell off after a few weeks and no one knows where. I had to buy replacement legs. You may have to deal with this.
