With a 6 month old Bernese puppy in the home remote controls can quickly become chew toys just like our standard Samsung TV. Not wanting to pay $60 for a replacement that might fail again, I gave this remote a try and am glad I did. Yes, it's not as sleek as a standard remote, but my wife and kid personally like that all the buttons are physical buttons and not just an apparent dot on the remote to press (aka the power button on a standard remote) . It worked right away, just put the batteries in and away you go. Being able to buy 5 of these for the price of 1 Samsung is great. It's almost cheaper than some of my pup's bully sticks so she can happily chew on it ;-)
