The hard way to get it right

Okay, I have a story to tell. I bought this lift kit for my 2007 Honda Ridgeline based on the reviews I read here. I'm not a mechanic or transmission specialist, so I had my local off-road shop install it. I think they overpaid me and told me my front axle was broken so I had it replaced too. When I went to pick up my truck the guy told me that this 2 inch lift changed the geometry of the truck. He told me I would "shake a little" while turning, but it goes away quickly and that's okay. Well, there was quite a bit of shimmy. This perfect truck is almost out of control now. I brought it back and they tried a few things but it's still the same. I called Greg from Traxda who tried to help by calling the machine shop. He told them it looked like constant velocity joints, but they insisted they just replaced the front axle so it couldn't be. After two weeks of back and forth I went back to the mechanic and said it needed fixing. They say the only thing you can do is remove the body kit. I agreed and they said they would call the next day. They didn't call so I decided to try something else. I drove my little Honda. Looked at my Ridgeline and after 15 minutes they did. don't find the problem. It was the secondary axis. installed by the mechanic when first installing the lift kit. Both front axles in truck drives exchanged as new. In short, the lift is great and the support I received from Traxda has been outstanding.
