I recently bought my son Etnies Kids Marana Skate Shoe in Navy/Brown, size 4.5 Big Kid US. The shoes look stylish and durable, perfect for skateboarding. However, my son claims the shoes feel bulky and heavy on his feet and had a hard time breaking them in. It took him several wears before he could move comfortably in it. At the same time, the shoes have good grip, which is very important in skateboarding. The reinforced toe box is also a plus as it protects the shoe from wear and tear. However, I would have expected more comfort and fit for the price. My son also mentioned that the laces were too long and he had to double knot them to avoid tripping. Overall, the Etnies Kids Marana Skate Shoe is a decent skate shoe, but it may take a while to break in. They look cool and feel solid, but the comfort could be better.
