Very spacious and fits under the bed. I have bought them on 3 separate occasions and will be ordering more. Just so I can paint a good picture of how awesome they are, I'll give you an example. I had one of those flatter long plastic boxes on wheels under my bed with all my nursing books and the space it took up was the full width and almost half the length of my bed (for reference, I have a queen size mattress). I put all these books in one of these boxes, they all fit and then some, and I have more storage space under the bed than before. I was actually able to fit 2 more (3 total) across the width of the bed. It's amazing and I couldn't be happier. I just want to point out that I don't see these storage boxes being effective if they were loaded with something heavy and then had to be moved on a regular basis. If they were packed with clothes or something lighter I could see that they are strong enough to be moved regularly.
