This is one of the best scanners I have ever used. The color is good, but most importantly, this scanner is FAST. It gets the job done faster than most scanners that are 4 years older. Combined with the aftermarket software Vuescan ([.]), I can create multi-page PDFs with a single click and automate my color-calibrated workflow. Most of the reviews here focus on a poor driver/software interface - to be honest I've never found decent scanner software in the box. Short hardware development cycles never allow scanner manufacturers to develop meaningful, mature software - if they can increase the dpi quickly, people will buy a scanner no matter what software it comes with, even if the software is the most important part. .
