I'm over 50, but what doesn't change when you're over 50? Eventually almost everything I used in my daily makeup turned the wrong color or stopped working as my skin tone and texture changed. I also find in many salons that younger ladies have no idea what works on a more mature face. I recently did my makeup and all the mistakes a young woman makes on a mature face have been made. Even as a young woman, I had a lot of texture around my eyes and learned very early on to use very fine powders and to try products that didn't cling to the texture around or on the lids. I have a full eyelid so working with matte color and contour is a must. In order for all this to continue, a good eye primer is essential. I've tried three products from other manufacturers, and this is where I look modestly at Jolie's product. Where other primers failed to cover the veins visible through my eyelids or creases, this eye primer really proved a winner. I love the texture and finish when applied with a synthetic brush. A very small amount is enough for a very long journey and the application must be targeted because once the product has dried it will work for you all day. The coverage is incredible. It does not roll or build on the skin texture, nor does it create an unattractive build point for shadows to fall on. It has a pigmented base which I feel enhances the eyeshadow colors rather than detracting from them like some eyeshadow primers do, they bleach your eyeshadow or make it lifeless. I had great results that lasted all day very easily. I am very happy with his eye primer, happier than any other eye primer I have used in years. This particular brand of product was a throwback for me and I could always find something. in this line that works no matter what happens to my skin: dry, oily in the t-zone or a gentle exfoliation for face care and make-up.
