Easiest solution for me

I think it might not be that easy for everyone because my sink plug had already come loose so I didn't have to remove it. This little device just drops into a hole and a simple push closes and opens it. I filled the sink with water and it didn't come out. It may leak a little around the edges because it just sits there and isn't caulked (I didn't notice any leakage), but it definitely doesn't leak out of the button cap. I have a polished silver that looks great BUT it doesn't repel water so any water droplets left in the sink after draining just stay on it which makes me think the polished finish won't last long but it lets me wipe it off afterwards, as I wrote above, I noticed that this baby doesn't actually need to urinate unless you fill the sink. If you're just washing your hands or brushing your teeth, just pull it out until I'm done, as it's not attached to anything. I think my only "complaint" is actually a good thing, and it's that this thing doesn't offer a lot of room to drain instead of water, meaning if you leave it on while you're brushing your teeth, you won't care You need to take it out to rinse the sink because the toothpaste is a bit thick and it won't all drain with the water. Overall this is a great fix for broken or missing plugs and I can't stress enough how expensive this looks!
