UPDATE: About 6 months after writing this review, I received an email from their support team saying they wanted to send a replacement unit. They must have hired a new marketer, I applaud their move to target disgruntled customers. I can support the company behind their product. I will come back in April 2021 (warranty period 18 months) and check if the replacement device works after the warranty period has expired. Initial chatter: This product worked fine when I first got it, but I think it might be designed to fail after use. warranty is void. I stored this item in the bin with other electronics (in a cool, dry place in my office) for several months when not in use. When I took it out to use it again, it wouldn't turn on or do anything. The warranty is only 18 months and I bought it 20 months ago. Bestek website lists a 24 month warranty on this product. and here on amazon it's only 18 months? I contacted the company for a refund and they turned me down with an insulting "deeply sorry". Message although I have provided pictures of the device. So today I am posting this review to warn everyone against purchasing this product. It works well at first but will let you down when it matters most and will most certainly not be a viable product 18 months after purchase.
