These socks are good for people on their feet with the arch support, cushioned soles, and compression. They wick moisture well and were great in ceramic toed work boots. never felt like my feet were in a swamp as most socks can feel after hours in the heat. I haven't used them for working out, so I'm unsure how they will preform. That said, based on experiences during working hours I would think they're up to the challenge. They're neither thick nor thin, but feel just right feel for my feet.
