The gold handle looks good and is in the right position to easily balance the kettle. The strainer used reaches the bottom longer than most, doing an excellent job of extracting maximum flavor from the tea. Inside the infuser is a small handle for removal. The metal tea infuser is smaller and has more holes than most teapots, which also allows you to brew tastier tea. I bought it with small mugs which are very nice to look at, so good that I put them on the counter for their glamorous look. This is a larger teapot than most glass teapots on the market. So if you are making tea for two or more people, this is a good choice.
