My unit had very slight backlight bleeding, but not enough to bear it. The laptop is equipped with some of the best components on the market. Enough RGB to light up the western hemisphere, Jake. All in all a great actor. A bit hot in thermals depending on games played. The only game that really bothers me is Black Ops 4. For some reason the thermals seem to go very far when I play this game. That being said, most of the other games I play are around 80 for CPU and GPU. The laptop is fairly thin by gaming standards, about an inch more or less. So if you're used to the Ultrabook, this might come as a culture shock to you. I paid around 2k when I first got it in March, but these days this laptop usually sells for around 1.5k or close to what I think is a great price. I would recommend this laptop if you're looking for something that handles temperatures well and has a more than decent built-in keyboard. I actually play with this stock keyboard as I have a full size table to expand my layout and that's one of the reasons I didn't sell this laptop because most thin and light devices have the worst non-travel Have a chiclet keyboard.
