Top price at the current price! (1.5k)

My unit had very slight backlight bleeding, but not enough to bear it. The laptop is equipped with some of the best components on the market. Enough RGB to light up the western hemisphere, Jake. All in all a great actor. A bit hot in thermals depending on games played. The only game that really bothers me is Black Ops 4. For some reason the thermals seem to go very far when I play this game. That being said, most of the other games I play are around 80 for CPU and GPU. The laptop is fairly thin

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Designed as a tank for computers and tablets

Bought this guy to upgrade from ASUS GL-502VM. The build quality is leaps and bounds higher. The deck hardly flexes and seems very solid. Screen quality is good. I wish it had a 1440p display and/or G-Sync support, but at least it works well at 144Hz. As with other nVidia laptops, it works if you connect a G-Sync compatible display via DisplayPort. The included NVME SSD isn't very fast compared to the Samsung 960 EVO I replaced it with, but it's still faster. as SATA. Speaking of SATA, it…

Pros
  • Pretty

  • Some flaws

THIRD update: support for ASUS lies. The second phase of repair failed.

06/17/2019: ASUS support tells me to send the device in for additional check/repair. INADMISSIBLE. The technician I worked with over a month ago told me that if the problem recurred, my machine would be replaced. I will not send it back. The only acceptable solution is replacement. I literally lost months driving this machine back and forth to the ASUS repair shop and I'm still stuck at a brick. I will never buy an ASUS computer again. This is literally the worst computer purchase I've ever…

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
