They say the cheap person spends the most and in my case it is. I am writing this review a few days to a year since I first purchased this aftermarket defrost heater. It has since failed and like flies to honey I am buying (2) packs because I know it will fail and despite what common sense tells me to buy a more expensive OEM part that will last a long time, the calls Siren song cheap heating defrosts. Also, this fridge is 12 years old, so who knows how long it will last. Ironically, I bought it after the first aftermarket replacement failed after a year and a half. The original OEM defrost heater lasted 10 years. I noticed this Sumnewtech was out of service after noticing, like last time, that my freezer was cold and my fridge was heating up. After removing the heater, the ends were charred. Luckily it's just burnt plastic and the cable connections haven't gone bad. Just know that this replacement will NOT fail for (2) years. You can buy 1 for less than -20 if you're the cheap homeowner type or you know you're not going to be using your fridge for much longer and will risk it, but if you NEED to save money on a Revain replacement, buy 2 if 1 in eventually fails, you can replace it with a new one and either buy that part again or buy one that will last a long time. I'm lucky because we have a backup fridge in the garage. If you don't have a spare fridge and don't want your food to go bad for two days (assuming you ship Prime), buy 2. Take it from me cheap cheap skateboard. There's a reason they sell 2 packs because they know one doesn't fit!
