love it the way it is. I'd say it's more of a scratch resistant case than protecting my laptop, but that was my goal. I use it in addition to a waterproof case (for portability) and the case is thin enough to hold everything properly. Cons - I used to have a Mac USB hub that looked like a rectangle right in front of my laptop (no key, just a rectangle that fits snugly into the ports and case) - and this will NOT work anymore with the extra thickness of this case. it's a subtle thing, but it counts. Instead, I simply had to switch to a key hub.
