I bought this radio because it was cheap, looked good, had good reviews and I wanted to try my hand at installing the head unit. For the first few months this thing was my favorite addition to the car and I appreciated the quality, but pretty soon the cells on the screen started to glow despite having parked in the shade at home and at work. At first it wasn't a problem since it was just one cell, but over time the cells disappeared or disappeared one by one. I really want to like this product as I am very picky about styling aftermarket radios and this one looked perfect. Unfortunately, the good looks, affordable price, and amazing sound quality couldn't bear the brunt of the low-quality issues. The following image illustrates this problem.
