They fit and attach just like the originals. The only tools I used were a clip remover (a small flathead screwdriver could have been used) and a ladder to hold the hatch in place when changing jambs. The new racks simply snap into place without tools. Fresh gas bottles hold the hatch much better than old ones. No more banging your head on a sagging sunroof! At $20 for a set of 2 I have no complaints.
