I bought a dozen and they all work - Smart Life App - WRONG INSTRUCTIONS

I bought a dozen, for myself and others. I test them with Saber Canned Smoke to make sure they detect smoke and set off an alarm. Everything I've tested works. One click of smoke, count to 15, and the alarm went off. I want people who complain to explain what exactly is wrong. I use the SmartLife app. And bought a pack of 200 text messages for a year for $2 to send me text notifications when the alarm goes off. This is to warn me when my phone might not be connected to the internet. I also use the Automate app for my Android phone to get smart life notifications. Learning to use the Smart Life app takes time, but everything works as expected. First, my first half-dozen detectors had a set of instructions. The last sentence had a different sentence. When adding an alarm to Smart Life, I selected + - Add device - Other - Other (Wi-Fi). The second, more recent, instruction was to add another type of device that didn't work. One disappointment: the smoke alarms didn't work with my rechargeable NIMH AA batteries, but they did with the alkaline batteries that came with them. NIMH normally has a voltage of 1.2 and an alkaline of 1.5.

Cons
