I just started considering this thermometer today. I have an Inkbird BBQ thermometer that has been very good so far so I decided to give it a try. Replacing the instant read Thermopop popsicle thermometer which was very good but I've left it out in the rain too many times and now the reading is poor. my fault I haven't cooked with it yet, but I calibrated it and everything went fine. However, when I tried to fully charge the device, the only way the connector worked was if I wiggled it and found a sweet spot where it stayed connected. Of course, I had to be very careful with it so that it kept loading as soon as I put it down. This is frustrating and I hope this situation doesn't get worse as I bought this device because it's rechargeable and if I can't charge it it will be totally useless. I like Inkbird so I hope this isn't a common issue with this product. We will see.
