I would be careful with that. My 8 year old cat started having weird coughing fits after switching to this litter. A few hundred bucks later at the vet, and it was determined that the finer particles in the lung feces were causing her asthma and she would likely be on anti-inflammatory medication for the rest of her life. The vet said that at her age it's unlikely she just developed it without a trigger and it was the only change in the house before she developed symptoms. It was nice that it was lighter, but it didn't harm my cat's health. If I had known it was possible I would not have switched. I've used regular weight filler again, but the damage has already been done and can't be undone.
