Don't bother with swim trunks

I've been looking for the perfect swim trunk for a couple of years now. I bought a few that were specifically marketed as men's swim trunks; designed to be worn out of the water as sun protection. They are generally baggy t-shirts made from gym wear material that flap and bounce in the water and then become very heavy and uncomfortably tight out of the water (e.g. in a weighted shirt). However, this shirt is worn as a wetsuit; Tight like a second skin that won't pucker or shift as you enter or exit the water. It is comfortable to swim in, does not interfere and dries well even out of the water. I thought black would be a mistake because it would bask in the sun, but when wet the evaporation has a nice cooling effect. Excellent sun protection, I spent several hours in the hot July sun without getting burned. My only criticism of the shirt is that the sleeves don't have a lot of stretch - I'm by no means a muscular man - but the sleeves do get uncomfortably tight after a while. I wear a size L t-shirt and I also ordered a size L and it fits perfectly. It MUST be narrow, beer belly or not!
