It didn't work as I hoped. It was easy to attach to my Nano HOB filter, but I couldn't get it to float properly to effectively remove surface scum. At first it floats quite high, even if the rubber ring is turned in such a way that the air bubble is as small as possible. Then I squeeze it and it falls and starts pulling water from above, but it sits too low to suck up water fast enough to slide across the surface. The last straw was that my shrimp decided to climb over it. Lip and commit suicide in the filter! I do not recommend this device if you want to save shrimp.
