I really wish they could adapt to my filter because it's perfect for adding surface extraction to your HOB filter. Pay $1 more and add adapters!

Great design! Got it on Aqua-Tech 5-15. Fits and clamps perfectly on the pipe and I love the adjustable controls. I run it on a fine stream and it keeps the surface spotless without sacrificing the performance of the filters.

Easily installs on Penn Plax Cascade Filter. After some initial adjustments, the surface of the water in my pool was crystal clear. It's a bit intrusive on the display, but I think the benefits of the beveled finish are worth it.

This skimmer adapter attaches to your regular hanging filter. The problem is that if your filter has a deep inlet, the skimmer won't work as it has to be high on the surface. I wouldn't recommend it for large tanks, it's hard to get it working to suck up water, it keeps floating

Much stronger than the Fluval skimmer (I had two and both broke after just a few months of use). You adjust it by turning the top (where the teeth are) to control the flow. Works perfectly. My only complaint is that it's tight when setting the flow, causing the skimmer to deform and move completely away from the outlet. It didn't work as I hoped. It was easy to attach to my Nano HOB filter, but I couldn't get it to float properly to effectively remove surface scum. At first it floats quite high, even if the rubber ring is turned in such a way that the air bubble is as small as possible. Then I squeeze it and it falls and starts pulling water from above, but it sits too low to suck up water fast enough to slide across the surface. Do you hate suction cups? No, I mean HAAAAATE suckers? It even fits the impeller cap bushing on my Marineland Hex-5 filter on my Hex-5s. It fits the Aqua-Tech 100 and will likely attach to the Penguin 100b (will check when I get more).
